Born and raised in Frankfort, Kentucky, Logan Curry is proud to call Franklin County home. The son of Paul and Missy Curry, Logan’s values of hard work, service, and community were shaped right here where he grew up.

Logan graduated from Western Hills High School in 2012 before earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Ball State University in 2016. From a young age, Logan had a clear goal—he wanted to serve and protect his community as a police officer. That passion guided his studies and ultimately his career.

After college, Logan began his law enforcement journey working at the Fayette County Jail. He then attended the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training at Eastern Kentucky University, where he graduated at the top of his class and received the Distinguished Recruit Award for Class 489.

In 2019, Logan proudly joined the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office as a road deputy. Through hard work, leadership, and dedication, he earned promotions to Sergeant and most recently to Lieutenant. Logan also served as a member of the Frankfort SWAT Team, a collaborative effort between the Frankfort Police Department and the Sheriff’s Office.

Outside of his uniform, Logan is deeply invested in the future of Franklin County’s youth. He founded the Outlaws Baseball Organization, which provides baseball and softball opportunities for young athletes across Central Kentucky. As a coach, mentor, and community leader, Logan is committed to making a positive impact both on and off duty.

In 2016, Logan married his wife, Mariah, and together they are raising their two children, Cooper and Harper. Family and community are at the heart of everything Logan does.

Logan loves Franklin County, the Sheriff’s Department, and the friends and neighbors he proudly serves alongside. With a lifelong dedication to public service, Logan is ready to continue serving his community as the next Sheriff of Franklin County.
